We have two bright and inviting preschool classrooms that provide a welcoming world of discovery and exploration. Each of our classrooms incorporates key concepts of the Reggio Emilia Approach to learning where we see the environment as the “third teacher.” Rooms are set up to provide “invitations and provocations to play.” We believe that the way our space is arranged is an important component in successful, interactive play amongst Children and educators. Play areas include child-size furniture and placement of equipment and materials is carefully planned to promote social interaction and room awareness. Play materials are organized and displayed using pictures, baskets and other visual cues so as children feel confident, learn sorting, matching, visual recognition and self-help skills.
We provide an environment rich in sensory exploration and full of natural materials. The classroom materials are grouped in similar areas of learning: Art, sensory, language, gross motor, fine motor, block play, daily living, music, math/science and library.
Preschoolers have endless curiosity and capacity to learn. Our program curated uniquely to our children’s interests and endless curiosity often includes messy crafts, science experiments, dance parties, outdoor exploration and special activities

Bright Beginnings for Kids has one classroom which focuses on bridging the gap between the early learning years and a child’s future schooling through our Junior Kindergarten-Kindergarten Program.
This Junior Kindergarten- Kindergarten programming is offered throughout the school year, starting in September, and is for children 4-5 years of age, who will be entering kindergarten the following fall as well as for children currently enrolled in kindergarten.
Our ECEs engage small groups of children to work on developing their social-emotional, cognitive, fine motor, literacy, and math skills. Time is filled with interactive experiences and hands-on activities that ignite their desire to learn and build a strong sense of self-confidence as they prepare to enter Kindergarten.
Kindergarten children can be dropped off at the centre shortly after the centre opens. A school bus will pick up children at a pre-arranged time and drop children off at school and then at the end of the school day, the bus will return to the centre. (Bus transportation must be arranged by the parent with the school).
On alternating days, when children don’t attend kindergarten and on school in-services days, they can attend the centre. During their time at our Centre, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten children engage in learning opportunities that support their natural curiosities, creativity and imagination.
